We provide quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the mission of the Patton College and to facilitate data-informed decision making.
As an applied research arm of the Dean’s Office, we are also responsible for assessing the quality, accuracy, and adequacy of the information used inside and outside the college.
We develop and administer surveys, and provide analyses of enrollments, retention and admissions rates, teaching loads, credit hour production, and overall performance of individual programs, departments, and the College as a whole.
We help departments create budgets for new and existing academic programs. We conduct financial review, generate projections and perform cost-benefit analysis.
To help ensure continuous program improvement, we help programs meet accreditation standards and report to accreditation agencies.
We provide accurate and timely information about our College to a variety of stakeholders - federal and state agencies, policymakers, university administration, parents and alumni, general public.
Whether it is a survey, data visualization, web or database applications, we design and develop tools that offer the best solutions for a given situation or purpose.
Our Center helps to coordinate and provide data to assess College programs and assist with developing assessment reports.
